Shely Aronov has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2001, they served as a Commander in the IDF - Israel Defence Forces, where they led a team and received recognition for their superior performance. From 2006 to 2009, Shely worked as a Management Consultant at Minet Technologies, managing marketing, sales, and business development efforts. In 2009, they founded EDT Marine Construction subsidiary in Colombia, leading a team and overseeing a large-scale construction project. In 2010, Shely worked as a Business Development Intern at National Semiconductor, where they analyzed the gaming industry and developed a business plan for a smart phone gaming accessory. In 2012, they founded Yamba Hummus, a premium hummus brand. Since 2018, Shely has been the Founder and CEO of InnerPlant, a company focused on developing crops that communicate their needs using optical signals. Additionally, since 2021, they have been the Host of the CropTastic Podcast, which explores the future of agriculture and food. Shely is also a Member of YPO since 2023.
Shely Aronov pursued their education at Tel Aviv University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship.
