Dr. Kerstin Lienbacher has extensive work experience in the communications field, primarily in the energy sector with a focus on gas engines. Dr. Kerstin started their career at GE in 2007, where they held various roles including Assistant Head of Sourcing and Communication Specialist in the Gas Engines Business. In these positions, they gained experience in both sourcing and communications functions.

In 2015, Dr. Lienbacher became the Senior Business Communications Manager for GE's Distributed Power business, where they were responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive communications strategy. Dr. Kerstin also led the global communications team during the sale of the business to Advent International.

In 2018, Dr. Lienbacher joined INNIO Group, an Advent portfolio company, as the Senior Business Communications Manager. Dr. Kerstin played a key role in the stand-alone business after the carve-out from GE, developing and implementing an integrated marketing, brand, and corporate communications strategy. Dr. Kerstin then served as the Vice President of Global Communications and Diversity, overseeing media relations, social media, crisis communications, branding, and more.
