Wijbren Zijlstra

Wijbren Zijlstra has a diverse work experience in the field service industry. Wijbren worked as a Chief Field Service Technician and later as a Senior Field Service Technician at INNIO Group starting in 2018. Before that, they were a Senior Field Service Engineer at FieldCore from 2018. Wijbren also served as a Service Engineer and Mentor at GE Power and Water from 2008, where they trained and supervised colleagues, conducted maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, and worked on small-scale projects. Additionally, Wijbren worked as a Senior Field Service Engineer at Ge Jenbacher Gasengines in 2017 and as a Service Engineer at GE Power and Water Jenbacher Gas Engines from 2008 to 2011. Their earlier experience includes working as an Engineer at Enerflex Europe from 2004 and at Lamb Weston Meijer from 1988 to 2004, where they started as a Shift Engineer and later became a Supervisor in the Mechanical Department.

Wijbren Zijlstra completed their middle school education at mavo 4 from 1979 to 1984. Wijbren then attended mts leeuwarden AOT from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in landwerktuig kundige. Their studies focused on steam and gas turbines, gas engines, diesel engines, as well as subjects such as English, German, physics, and electricity.
