Swamini Saini

Swamini Saini has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and management. Swamini currently serves as a Scientific Manager at Innoplexus since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Scientific Officer & Operation Manager at SpiceHealth from May 2021 to October 2022.

Swamini also had a significant tenure at Vyome Therapeutics Ltd. where they held various roles. Swamini started as a Sr. Associate Scientist in Pre-clinical & Biology in October 2016 and was promoted to Scientist - I Pre-clinical & Biology in October 2019. During their time at Vyome, they contributed to the development of novel drugs for antibiotics-resistant acne and other opportunist pathogens through a unique pipeline of antibiotics. Swamini also conducted extensive research on biological and pharmacological studies on various cosmetics and pharmaceutical delivery systems, leading to the publication of several research articles.

Before joining Vyome Therapeutics, Swamini worked as an Associate Scientist at VYOME Biosciences Private Limited from May 2013 to September 2016. At VYOME Biosciences, they focused on developing innovative drugs and pharmaceutical delivery systems for antibiotics-resistant acne and other opportunist pathogens. Swamini actively conducted research and published research articles in reputable journals to showcase the company's potential for innovation.

Swamini's early career includes a role as a Project Trainee/ Project Associate at Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) from November 2012 to April 2013.

Swamini Saini pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from ITS Centre for Dental Studies and Research from 2006 to 2009. Swamini then went on to complete their Master's degree in Biotechnology from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow between 2010 and 2012. Swamini further continued their academic journey and is currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biotechnology at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, anticipated to be completed in 2023.
