Lori Buck

Lori Buck has over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles in the publishing and printing industry. Lori started their career at Academic Press as an Editorial Supervisor, where they led process improvement efforts and managed production staff. Lori then progressed to roles such as Managing Editor and Publishing Services Manager, where they gained experience in profit management, overseeing production of books and journals, and coaching production editors. At Elsevier, Lori served as a Director, managing production for Science & Technology books and ancillaries, and later as a Publishing Services Manager for book production departments. During their time at PEP Direct and Qdmh, Lori held the position of Director, overseeing operations for manufacturing, warehouse, and facilities. Lori introduced metrics-based approaches to drive cost reductions and productivity increases. Currently, Lori is the Director of Procurement & Art Processing at Innovairre Communications, where they lead procurement initiatives and leverages data analytics for fundraising and marketing strategies. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong track record in leadership, process improvement, and achieving fiscal goals.
