Endre Moen

Endre Moen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Endre currently works at Innovasea as a Senior Software Developer, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at the Institute of Marine Research (IMR) in Norway, including Senioringeniør and Overingeniør. In these roles, they developed REST services, designed a data model, implemented authentication solutions, and worked on projects involving deep learning for otolith interpretation and salmon scale aging. Before IMR, Moen worked at Avenir as a Senior Consultant, where they worked on projects for TrygVesta, DnB, and Nordea, utilizing technologies such as Java/JEE, HTML, Javascript, and Spring framework. Endre also worked as a Software Development Consultant at Bekk Consulting.

Endre Moen's education history is as follows:

From 1999 to 2003, they attended Teesside University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.

In 2003, they enrolled at the University of Oxford and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science in 2004.

Afterwards, they acquired various certifications. In August 2001, they became a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform. In May 2002, they achieved the Sun Certified Developer for the Java 2 Platform certification. In January 2006, they obtained the Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for Java Platform EE certification.

Later, in December 2013, they completed the "Coding the Matrix: Linear Algebra through Computer Science Applications" course on Coursera.

In 2014, they completed multiple Coursera courses, including "Machine Learning," "Game Theory," and "From GPS and Google Maps to Spatial Computing." Endre also obtained the "Computational Investing, Part I" certification.

In February 2015, they completed the "Game Theory II: Advanced Applications" course on Coursera.

In December 2016, they achieved the "Bayesian Statistics: From Concept to Data Analysis (with Honors)" certification on Coursera.

During December 2017, they completed several Coursera courses, including "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning." Endre also obtained the certifications for "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" and "Convolutional Neural Networks."

Lastly, in April 2018, they completed the "Deep Learning Specialization" and "Sequence Models" courses on Coursera.
