Sandra Meinig

Sandra Meinig, MBA, has a strong background in risk management and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Sandra is currently working as the Chief Risk Officer at Innovation Federal Credit Union, a role they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Risk Officer at Wyth Financial, where they played a key role in the development of strategic and operational planning, risk management, compliance, and policy regimes. Additionally, they have extensive experience at Scotiabank, where they held roles such as Vice President of Global Risk Management and Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Risk Management. In these positions, they were responsible for managing large portfolios, leading change management functions, and driving strategic planning initiatives. Sandra also successfully executed a failing Basel II AIRB program and received recognition for their outstanding achievement.

Sandra Meinig holds an MBA in Finance from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Sandra also obtained an HBA in Finance from the same institution. Additionally, Sandra has obtained a certification in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2023.
