Leif Stagis

Leif Stagis has extensive experience spanning over three decades in various roles within the IT industry. Leif started their career in 1987 at Jyske Bank, where they worked as a Systemkonstruktør and Projektleder, involved in the analysis, design, and development of online and batch systems. Leif later became a Funktionsleder and Systemsammenhænge, overseeing customer, credit, and advisory systems, and ensuring technical strategy and production monitoring.

In 1998, Stagis transitioned to become a DWH-designer and -udvikler at Jyske Bank. Here, they played a crucial role in the establishment of an enterprise DataWareHouse solution, including the development of strategies, choice of methodologies and tools, and infrastructure setup.

Stagis joined Silkeborg Data in 2000 as a Funktionsleder and Afdelingsleder, responsible for leading functional teams and departments.

Leif returned to Jyske Bank in 2003 to work as a DWH-udvikler and IT-udviklingssupporter. In this role, they developed DWH solutions, provided development support, coordinated service level agreements with the data center, and managed stakeholder relationships.

In 2010, Stagis joined Bankdata as a Dataarkitekt, involved in data architecture and database support for operational applications. Leif also served as a BI-udvikler, focusing on ETL development and SQL server table design.

From 2013 to 2016, Stagis worked at Jyske Finans as a Business Intelligence designer and -udvikler. Their responsibilities included creating BI analyses and reports, building IT infrastructure for ETL processing, and developing data loads and data marts using SAS.

Leif then moved to Nordea in 2016 as a Test Data Manager and GDPR masking architect, where they analyzed databases, identified sensitive data, and collaborated with system departments to document findings. Leif also established Test Data Management processes and implemented data masking using IBM Optim.

Stagis joined Pure Delivery AB in 2016 as a Test Data Manager, and then started their own consultancy, Stagis Consult, as an Owner/Consultant.

Most recently, they joined JN Data A/S in 2019 as a Batchoperatør, where they are currently employed.

Leif Stagis completed a degree as an EDB-assistant at Aalborg EDB-skole from 1986 to 1987. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including ITIL 4 Foundation from PeopleCert in June 2019, DevOps Foundation from DevOps Institute in January 2019, and ISTQB Foundation - Software testing from an undisclosed institution in 2006.
