Charles Mgoya

Charles Mgoya, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Finance and Operations Manager at Innovations for Poverty Action since March 2017, Charles oversees financial functions and HR support for the Tanzania Country Office. Previously, Charles held significant roles at Room to Read, including Associate Director for Finance and Accounting in Africa, where responsibilities encompassed financial oversight and staff mentoring. Other notable positions include Finance Manager at Mildmay Mission Hospital and Project Accountant at Jilanjo Ltd, further demonstrating a strong background in accounting and compliance. Charles holds an MBA and a CPA designation, along with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam.
