Simon Fontanel

Simon Fontanel has over 10 years of experience in biotechnology, with a strong focus on research and development. Currently, Simon serves as a project manager at Innovative Diagnostics, specializing in recombinant antibody engineering, production, and selection. Prior roles include positions as a study engineer at the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle, where Simon worked on protein engineering for GPCR production and purification, and at the IRIM Institut de Recherche en Infectiologie de Montpellier, where Simon characterized membrane compartments related to the Chikungunya virus replication machinery. Additional experience includes research roles at Inserm and ICM, alongside internships that focused on cancer research and genetic studies in zebrafish. Simon holds a Master 2 degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Montpellier.
