Garrett Lister

Garrett Lister has significant experience in the agricultural sector, particularly in livestock risk management and performance forecasting. Since May 2014, Garrett has worked at Innovative Livestock Services, specializing in risk management for cattle, including hedging strategies for Live Cattle and Grains. Prior to this role, Garrett was a Fellow at the Center for Risk Management Education and Research at Kansas State University from November 2012 to May 2014. Initial experience includes internships at Cargill, where Garrett served as a Pork Sales Intern, developing plans for optimizing packaging material usage, and as a Pork Field Intern, conducting nursery pig research trials. Garrett holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics, both from Kansas State University.
