Alan Pretre

Alan Pretre has a diverse work experience in software development and instruction. Alan worked as a Software Developer at Innovative Systems LLC, where they wrote Windows software for telecommunications device provisioning using .NET and SQL Server technologies. Prior to that, they were a Software Developer at Martin Group for seven years. Alan also worked as an Instructor at the Institute for Business Innovation, a Software Developer/Network Installer at PC Associates, a Math/Computer Science Instructor at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and a Software Developer/Research Scientist at Remote Sensing Institute. Alan started their career as a Software Developer at MCS Group.

Alan Pretre attended South Dakota Mines from 1980 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Alan also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science during the same period.
