Donele Weddington

Donele Weddington is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse background in retail operations and management. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Mereté Hotel Management since September 2022, Donele previously held the position of Human Resources Director at New Seasons Market from June 2015 to June 2022, managing HR operations for an 18-location grocery chain in the Portland Metro area. With prior experience as a Human Resources Generalist-Retail at Yankee Candle Company, Donele provided HR support across 120 stores in the western United States. Additional roles include Director of Retail Sales and Hospitality at Oak Knoll Winery, Store Manager at Disney Retail, and Divisional Sales Manager at Macy's/Meier and Frank. Donele holds an Associate's of Arts degree from Chemeketa Community College and has pursued higher education at the University of Oregon.
