Brian McCabe has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the IT industry. Brian started their career in 1994, running their own IT services business, providing consultancy to medium-large enterprises. Brian then worked as the Director of Oracle Services at PIPEX Communications, where they were responsible for providing Oracle services to hosted and remotely managed customer solutions. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Solutions Architect at OraServ.
In 2005, they joined NetServices plc as the Client Services Director, where they created a new client services function and introduced best-practice procedures for incident, problem, and change management.
From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Edenbrook as the Managed Services Practice Manager, and after the acquisition of Edenbrook by Hitachi Consulting, they became the Senior Vice President - Managed Services. In this role, they were responsible for the growth and delivery of Managed Services and AMO into Hitachi Consulting's EMEA client base. Brian also had global responsibility for service strategy and service design.
In 2013, they joined Mokum Change Management Ltd as a Director, where they were responsible for the growth and delivery of professional Managed Services within Europe's largest dedicated Oracle consulting firm. The Mokum business was acquired by PwC in April 2014, and Brian continued their career at PwC as a Director. In this role, they were responsible for the delivery of Application Management Services and providing applications consulting services to the private sector. Brian successfully achieved ISO20000-1 accreditation and evolved the service portfolio to incorporate cloud-based solutions.
In 2021, they joined Evosys as the Global SVP, and in 2022, they joined Inoapps as the SVP Global Managed Services.
Brian McCabe received a Certified Agile Service Manager (CASM) degree from DevOps Institute in 2021. In 2020, they obtained an ITIL 4 Managing Professional degree in ITIL Service Management from QA / Axelos. From 2000 to 2019, Brian studied ITIL Service Management at OGC / Axelos. In 1997-1998, they attended Oracle University to pursue a field of study in Oracle Certified Professional DBA.
