Nicolas Fourrier

Clinical Biomarkers, Translational Research and Biologistics Director at Inotrem

Nicolas Fourrier has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to scientific research and development. Nicolas currently holds the position of Clinical Biomarkers, Translational Research, and Biologistics Director at Inotrem since April 2021. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2021, Nicolas worked at SGS, initially as a Team Leader in Assay Development and Validation from 2012 to 2015, then as the Head of ImmunoAssay and Cell-Based Assay services from 2016 to 2021. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Scientific Director in Life Services, where they supported GMP assay services and developed new GMP analytical services for Cell and Gene therapy drug development. Before joining SGS, Nicolas worked as a Research and Development Team Leader at The Binding Site Group Ltd from 2006 to 2012, where they led a team focused on improving clinical immuno-assay portfolios and developing novel immunoassays. Nicolas started their career as a Research Associate at the Marie Curie Research Institute from 2005 to 2006, studying the control of the cell cycle and post-translational modification of the Anaphase Promoting Complex in S. pombe and X.

Nicolas Fourrier began their education in 1996 at Universite de Montpellier 2, where they pursued a Bachelors of Science and subsequently a Master's degree in Sciences. After completing their undergraduate and graduate studies in 2001, they joined Royal Holloway, University of London for their doctoral studies. From 2001 to 2005, they pursued a PhD in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Biochemistry at Royal Holloway.
