Jörg Sprengel

Jörg Sprengel is a seasoned professional in the life sciences industry, currently serving as Senior Manager at BASE life science since September 2023 and Senior Consultant at Inovigate since March 2016. With a robust background in business development demonstrated during tenure as Director at Certara from 2013 to 2016, Jörg has extensive expertise in R&D consulting, having held key roles at IBM as Senior Managing Consultant and at Janssen Pharmaceutica as Principal Scientist and Head of Bioinformatics. Jörg’s career also includes leadership positions at Lion Biosciences and experience in bioinformatics at J&J and Forschungszentrum Jülich. Jörg Sprengel earned a Dr. rer. nat. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Physics from the University of Cologne between 1989 and 1994.
