Giselle Carr has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2009, they served as a Creative Director for Shapna Tea/Bangladeshi Tea Corporation, where they focused on logo and branding design, packaging design, website design, and marketing materials. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Marketing Graphic Designer at Pratt Institute. Giselle then joined Abovegroup Ogilvy in 2012, where they served as a Brand Analyst, Strategy & Planning, and later as Head of Brand Strategy & Planning. In 2013, they moved to Ogilvy Caribbean and took on the role of Head of Brand Strategy and Planning. From 2016 to 2019, Giselle was a Partner and Director of Strategy at Abovegroup. Giselle then transitioned to TreeSisters in 2018, initially as a Marketing Manager and later as Head of Marketing and Branding until 2020. Giselle joined Climate Designers in 2022 as Head of Chapters, and in the same year, they started volunteering as a Member of the Education Research Cluster at NASA Glenn Research Center. In 2023, they became the Head of Brand and Communications at InPlanet. Finally, since 2020, Giselle has been the Founder of Stardust Life Centered Design, a design practice in the Caribbean focused on regenerative design and sustainable business.

Giselle Carr completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from St. Thomas Aquinas College in the years 2001 to 2005. Giselle then pursued a Master of Professional Studies in Design Management from Pratt Institute from 2009 to 2012. In 2004, Giselle engaged in an independent study focused on Cathedrals & Monasteries in England at the University of Oxford. Prior to their college education, they attended Bishop Anstey High School, though no specific dates were provided. As for additional certifications, Giselle obtained the "Introduction to Biomimicry" certification from Biomimicry 3.8 in December 2013, followed by the "Discovering Nature's Genius Immersion Workshop" certification from the same institution in December 2014. Giselle'smost recent certification, "Design Kit," was obtained from NovoEd in February 2016.
