Diego started their career as a Game Designer at Pyro Studios, where they analyzed social gaming trends and assisted with various aspects of game design. Diego then worked as a Software Engineer at GameStop before transitioning to a role as a Developer Evangelist at Microsoft. At Microsoft, Diego promoted the company's developer tools and platforms. Following this, they joined Red Hat as an OpenShift Technology Advocate, where they drove adoption of Red Hat's cloud computing solutions and managed communication with the developer community. Diego then moved to CA Technologies as a Developer Advocate, shaping the company's developer advocacy culture and engaging with developer communities. Diego continued their career at Samsung Electronics America as a Senior Developer Evangelist, promoting the company's technologies and engaging with the developer community. After that, they worked at Beyond Identity as a Senior Developer Evangelist before joining Coinbase as a Sr. Developer Relations Engineer. Diego then served as the Director of Developer Relations at Agoric before their current role as the Developer Relations Lead - Midnight at Input Output (IOHK). Diego has consistently demonstrated a passion for developer relations and technology throughout their career.
Diego Lizarazo completed a Master's degree in Video Game Design and Programming from Universidad Europea in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Los Andes in 2005.
