Carl Bjerkne has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Carl is currently the CEO & Founder of Insert Coin, a leading gamification provider in Scandinavia. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2017, they served as the CEO/Investor - Growth & Product executive at Bjerkne & Co, a business development and investment firm specializing in startups. From 2015 to 2017, they worked part-time as a Business Developer - Growth & Product at Innovatum AB, where they also served as a Business Coach for start-up teams.

From 2013 to 2017, Carl was the Co-Founder & Chairman of the Board at Mobile Storytelling, a technology provider for gamification within events and tourism. Carl was instrumental in merging the company with a competitor in 2017.

Prior to these roles, Carl worked as the Head of Product - Social at King.com, a gaming company, where they successfully transitioned game brands from skill gaming to becoming social game hits. Carl also had management trainee/internship roles at First to Know AB & Scandinavian Enviro System, and Boss Media AB, where they gained experience in business planning, investment rounds, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking.

Carl Bjerkne earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from Växjö University. Carl later obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Gothenburg. Carl also pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Chinese studies at the University of Macao, but the start and end dates for this program were not specified.
