Stan Hermes has a diverse work experience. Stan started their career in 2010 as a Sales Agent at Het Customer Care Center. Stan then worked as a Junior Product Manager at Solar A/S in 2011. In 2013, they joined Bluedesk E-business as a Stagiair and later became an Account Manager. In 2017, they worked as an Account Manager at JEROME van Bluedesk. In 2018, they joined Osudio as a Business Consultant, providing support to clients in the digital commerce field. In 2019, they started their own company, Hermes IT Consultancy, where they worked as a Managing Director as a freelance digital consultant. In the same year, they also became a Member of Alcmaria Victrix Businessclub - Sponsoring. In 2020, they joined Mindcurv as a Business Analyst and later moved to InShared in 2022 for the same role. Stan Hermes has experience in various roles, including sales, marketing, administration, and consulting.

Stan Hermes has a diverse education history. Stan completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) at Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2009 to 2014, majoring in Commerciële Economie. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they attended ROC Horizon College, where they pursued Marketing & Communicatie at the MBO level 4 (THBO). Additionally, they attended Petrus Canisius College Alkmaar from 2001 to 2006, completing their VMBO TL.

In addition to their formal education, Stan Hermes has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certification from Scrum.org. In March 2020, they received the SAP Skill 2020 - Experience Academy for Partners certification from SAP Customer Experience. In November 2019, they obtained the Qualtrics CX Expert Certification from Qualtrics. In July 2018, they achieved the SAP Certified Associate - SAP Hybris Commerce Business Analyst 6.3 certification from SAP. Most recently, in August 2022, they obtained the Google Analytics Certification from Google.
