Lisa Hu has worked in a variety of roles in the nutrition field. In 2022, they began working as a Nutrition Scientist at InsideTracker and as a Survey Worker at the Nutrition Policy Institute of UCANR. In 2021, they were a Nutrition Outreach Worker at the University of California, Berkeley, an Intern at Strategic Nutrition Design, and a Consultant at FEED Berkeley. In 2020, they were a Dietetics Co-Director and Dietetics Committee Member at Student Nutrition Advocacy Club (SNAC). In 2017, they were a Falls Prevention Volunteer at Sutter Health's California Pacific Medical Center.
Lisa Hu began their education in 2007, when they enrolled in the San Francisco Conservatory of Music's Pre-College program for Piano. Lisa continued their studies there until 2016. From 2015 to 2019, they attended Lowell High School. In 2019, Lisa began their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences & Toxicology. Lisa is expected to graduate in 2023. Additionally, Lisa has obtained two certifications from ServSafe: a ServSafe Manager certification in February 2022, and a ServSafe Food Handler certification in August 2021.
