Lorena Plasencia

Lorena Plasencia has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and customer service industries since 2008. Lorena began their career as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst Jr. at Asociación Popular de Ahorros y Préstamos in 2008. In 2009, they moved to Maritima Dominicana SAS, where they worked as a Statistical Analyst - Business Intelligence (BI). From 2011 to 2013, they were a Customer Service - NCI/Front Desk Assistant Manager at Garces & Grabler and Lebrocq. In 2013, they joined Genzyme, a Sanofi Company, as a Business Systems Analyst. In 2015, they became a Project Coordinator at Vector Security. In 2016, they took on two roles simultaneously, becoming an Associate System Analyst at Eze Software Group and a Bilingual Software QA and Support Specialist at Eliza Corporation. In 2018, they moved to Vinfen as an Applications Systems Administrator and, most recently, in 2021, they joined InsideTracker as a Security Project Manager.

Lorena Plasencia has a diverse educational background. Lorena began their studies in 2007 at Centro de Tecnologia Universal (CENTU), where they earned a Computer Hardware Technician degree in 2008 and a Visual Programming Technician degree in 2009. Lorena then attended Bunker Hill CC from 2014 to 2018, earning an Associate's Degree in Cybersecurity. Currently, Lorena is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cloud Security, and Management at Bay State College, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, in October 2020, Lorena obtained a Cybersecurity Cloud Risk Management Professional - Level 5 certification from the Mission Critical Institute for Cybersecurity.
