Jaco Venter

Jaco Venter is the current Head of Asset Management & Data Science at Insig AI. Jaco has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, spanning from working as a lecturer at Tshwane University of Technology, to an equity research analyst at J.P. Morgan, to a portfolio manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, to their current position. Jaco has a wealth of experience in data mining and quantitative techniques, which they utilize in their current role to Insig AI's advantage.

Jaco Venter has a background in mathematical sciences and statistical probability, holding a B.Sc (Hons) from the University of the Free State in Mathematical Statistics and Probability, as well as a B.Sc in Mathematical Sciences. Jaco is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder.
