Tom Launder

Tom Launder has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of clinical data management. Tom began their career as a CDM at SynteractHCR in 2000 and worked there until 2005. During this time, they took on additional roles and responsibilities within the company. Tom then joined Medtronic Vascular in 2005 as a Senior Clinical Data Manager until 2006. Tom continued to progress in their career by joining Quintiles as an ACDM Data Team Leader from 2006 to 2007. Tom then worked at Genentech as a Senior Project Data Manager from 2007 to 2009. Afterwards, they briefly worked at Elan as a Manager, Clinical Data Management consultant in 2009 and then moved to Abbott Vascular Devices as a Senior Consultant Worldwide Data Management Group from 2009 to 2010. Tom further expanded their experience by joining Onyx Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Consultant CDM from 2011 to 2011 and later as a Senior Manager, Clinical Data Management from 2011 to 2013. Tom continued their career progression and became the CEO of BioPrecision Group, LLC from 2014 to 2022. Currently, Tom holds the position of Executive Director, Clinical Data Management at Insight Clinical Consulting, starting from 2023. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in various areas of clinical data management, including leadership, oversight, and strategic planning.

Tom Launder attended LIFE Pacific University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. Tom then pursued further education at Westminster from 1997 to 2000, completing a Master of Divinity degree in Theology.
