Billy Garrison

Billy Garrison is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in both software development and geological sciences. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Insight M since May 2024, Billy previously held the position of Head of Engineering at Arolytics from November 2019 to May 2024, where responsibilities included recruitment, management of engineering teams, and contributions to the development of AroFEMP software. Billy's technical expertise spans a range of technologies including React, Python, AWS, and MongoDB. Prior roles include positions as a Geologist and GIS Analyst with the Government of Nova Scotia, where Billy developed data collection applications and conducted field inspections. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Dalhousie University, complemented by further studies at Fleming College.
