Oscar Segar

Oscar joined Insight in 2022 and is focused on structured equity investments for Insight’s Opportunities Fund. He focuses on investments in both high-growth and mature software businesses and is responsible for executing transactions and assisting in portfolio management post-close. Prior to joining Insight, he spent time with OMERS Private Equity, where he was focused on the origination, execution, and management of private equity investments in the Industrials, Business Services, and Healthcare sectors. Oscar began his career with the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Barclays in New York, working on a variety of M&A, debt, and equity transactions.

Oscar graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration, double majoring in Finance, Investment and Banking, and Economics, with a Mathematical Emphasis.
