Haocheng Z. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering.

In 2017, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at TianAn Smart, where they quickly learned Front-end languages and made improvements to over 50 website pages, resulting in the project being completed two months ahead of schedule.

From 2018 to 2019, they served as a Research Assistant at CAHL Lab at UC Berkeley, where they scraped data sets, performed data manipulation using Pandas and Regular Expression, and handled edge cases.

From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at PROJECT GUTENBERG LITERARY ARCHIVE FOUNDATION INC TR, where they participated in the daily maintenance of the production site, which had over 6 million downloads per month. Haocheng also contributed to the construction of new Project Gutenberg sites.
