John Pilla, PharmD

John Pilla, PharmD has been working in the healthcare field since 2009. John began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Mount Nittany Medical Center, where they prepared and compounded medication orders and learned U.S.P. In 2011, they joined Penn Medicine (University of Pennsylvania Health System) as a Pharmacy Intern. John then worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at Penn Medicine from 2014 to 2016, before joining MedStar Washington Hospital Center in the same role. Most recently, in 2020, they were appointed Director of Health System Partnerships at InsightRX.

John Pilla, PharmD, obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in 2014, after completing their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Penn State University in 2010. John also holds certifications from the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy (2016) and the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy (2014).
