Sarah graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Upon graduating, she began working as a Behavior Support Instructor in the school setting, supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges. This position eventually led her to the field of developmental disabilities where she worked as a Case Manager for individuals receiving services through the Medicaid Waivers. She then decided to pursue a graduate degree and throughout her educational training she spent the majority of her time providing counseling services to individuals living in a group home setting. After graduating in 2008, with a Masters in Counseling, Sarah became a Behavioral Consultant with Insights Consulting. In 2019, Sarah accepted the role of a Senior Behavioral Consultant. As a senior behavioral consultant, Sarah possess a specialty area of expertise and acts as a support to members of the behavioral team. She has special interests supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and severe mental illness. Sarah strives to empower those she supports by focusing on strengths that promote growth and independence. She is driven by her passion to better the lives of the families and people she supports.
