Heng Zhao

Heng Zhao is a highly experienced professional in the field of pharmacology, currently serving as the Pre-Clinical Pharmacology Manager at Insilico Medicine since December 2021. Prior to this role, Heng Zhao was a Group Leader II/Senior Scientist at WuXi AppTec from June 2017 to November 2021, where responsibilities included directing studies on in vivo and in vitro cancer drug efficacy. Heng Zhao's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences from Indiana University Indianapolis (2010-2016), a Master’s Degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2007-2010), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Nanjing Normal University (2003-2007). Additionally, there was a postdoctoral research position at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from March 2016 to May 2017.
