Alexis Ewer

Alexis Ewer is an Associate Scientist III at insitro, having progressed through roles as Associate Scientist II and Associate Scientist I since July 2022. Prior experience includes a Research Intern position at the University of California, Berkeley, where work involved drug discovery assays under the guidance of Eddie Wehri at the Henry Wheeler Center for Emerging and Neglected Diseases. Additionally, Alexis served as a Research Assistant in the UC Berkeley Neuroeconomics Laboratory, collaborating with Dr. Ming Hsu and UCSF to investigate the impact of dopamine on decision-making. An internship at Napa Valley Orthopaedic Medical Group in Summer 2020 provided exposure to pain management practices under Dr. Jacqueline Weisbein. Alexis Ewer earned a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2018 to 2022.
