David Collins has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. David started their career in 1999 as a Graduate Trainee in GlaxoSmithKline's IT Management Program. David then took on various roles within the company, including Decision Support Executive, Primary Care Sales Representative, and Market Research Manager.
In 2009, they moved to Novartis, where they held the positions of Global Marketing Science Manager and later Global Insights Director until 2015.
Following that, David joined Shire, where they worked as the Commercial Insights & Analytics Lead from 2015 to 2016. David then became the Head of Marketing Intelligence and Insights for the Internal Medicine Franchise before being promoted to Director, Global Marketing Lead from 2018 to 2019.
From 2019 to 2021, David worked at Arvelle Therapeutics as the Head of Marketing Insights.
Currently, they are working at Insmed Incorporated as the Senior Director of Commercial Effectiveness for the EMEA region, starting in November 2022.
In addition to their corporate roles, David also worked as an Independent Pharmaceutical Consultant from February 2022 to October 2022.
David Collins attended Glasgow Caledonian University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Psychology and Social Sciences.
