Mark Ballard M.D.

Mark Ballard, MD has extensive work experience in the medical field. Mark is currently serving as the Senior Medical Director at Insmed Incorporated since September 2019. Prior to this, Mark worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Medical Director and MSL from April 2016 to August 2019. Mark also worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as an HSE from October 2013 to April 2016. Mark has held various roles in medical science liaison at Alexion, Mylan Specialty, Eisai, and Novartis. Mark has also worked as a Regional Scientific Director and Interim Medical Director at Novartis from 2003 to 2010. Before entering the industry, Mark practiced as a primary care physician in Family Practice from June 1982 to August 2003.

Mark Ballard, MD began their education in 1972 at Indiana University Bloomington, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Mark successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1976. Subsequently, they attended Indiana University School of Medicine from 1975 to 1979, earning their Medical Doctor (MD) degree with a specialization in Medicine. Following this, they pursued further education at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, focusing on Family Practice from 1979 to 1982.
