Sophia Wu has a diverse work experience in various roles related to user experience research and product development. In 2015, they worked as a Qualitative Research Intern at the Chinese Consumer Center. In 2014, they served as a Product Development Assistant for eatgether, where they executed usability testing and contributed to the development of an internal CRM system. In 2018, they worked as a User Experience Researcher at ASUS. From 2019 to 2020, Sophia held the position of User Experience Researcher at Compal, leading an exploratory study on smart pet cameras and establishing personas and use cases. In 2020, they joined UXBoost as a Mixed Methods Researcher, conducting competitive benchmark usability tests and informing mobile app redesigns. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at AJA Creative Design as a User Experience Researcher. Most recently, they worked at Trend Micro as a User Experience Researcher, conducting international remote user studies and creating an internal interview recruitment system. Currently, they hold the position of Senior UX Researcher at Inspectorio.
Sophia Wu 吳思亞 holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology of Economic Life from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they obtained from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Law at National Chengchi University from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Sophia has also obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they received a certification in "User Experience Insights with Chris Nodder" from LinkedIn. In October 2016, they completed a certification in "Introduction to Probability and Data" from Courseracou, and in September 2016, they obtained a certification in "Firm Level Economics: Consumer and Producer Behavior" from Coursera Course Certificates.
