Ruchir P Patel, MD, FACP, is an accomplished physician and entrepreneur with extensive experience in sleep medicine and mental health. Currently serving as the CEO, CMO, and Founder of Nightly since April 2024, Patel is dedicated to transforming sleep therapy. As Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Atara Labs, Inc. since October 2023, the focus is on advancing neuromodulation devices for various mental health conditions. Patel established the Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona LLC in December 2012, providing comprehensive care for over 80 sleep disorders. Additionally, Patel is the Founder and Medical Director of TMS Institute of Arizona, specializing in innovative treatments for mental health disorders. Other roles include Medical Faculty positions at Eli Lilly and Company, Inspire Medical Systems, and various ZOLL companies.
