Melissa Hirst

Melissa Hirst is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Inspire11 since March 2020. Prior to this role, Melissa was a member of Chief, a network aimed at advancing women into leadership positions, from July 2021 to August 2022. Melissa's extensive experience also includes a tenure as a Partner at Jones Day from September 2004 to March 2020, where responsibilities included defending product liability lawsuits, class actions, and engaging in complex commercial litigation. Melissa holds a Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in Government and International Studies, with a focus on French, from the University of Notre Dame.
