John Sandoval has over 20 years of professional experience in software engineering and web development. In 2015, they joined InspiringApps as a Software Engineering Lead, where they worked on JavaScript web application development and AWS service architecture. John utilized technologies such as Vanilla JS, ES6+, Node. js, Express, Vue, Vuex, NPM / Yarn, Grunt / Webpack, LESS / SASS, HTML5, Accessibility (a11y), REST, web security, IDP integration, custom CLI, Apache / NGINX, MySQL, AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Cloudfront, Cognito, Lambda, SES, WAF, Route53, SNS, SQS, and more), AWS CDK, Docker, GCP, Azure, GitHub, DNS, SSL / TLS, Automated testing (mocha, chai, cypress), CI / CD, and Headless CMS.

From 2002 to 2015, John worked at Intrado in various roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Associate Software Engineer. John was responsible for enterprise web application development, enterprise data engineering, development lead, analytics, advanced SQL development, data warehousing, environment and reporting automation, and more. John used technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, SAS, ETL, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Node, Angular, Twitter Bootstrap, CSS3, LESS, Node, NPM, Bower, Grunt, HTML5, and NGINX.

John began their career in 1998 at Perspective Web Systems as a Web Developer, where they saved and paid for college by performing freelance web development for small companies seeking web presence. John used technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web graphics, web site design and navigation, and web site maintenance.

John Sandoval attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Management Information Systems.
