Rubén Puerta

Rubén Puerta has several years of work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position is as a Content Producer at instagrid, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Social Media and Digital Marketing Trainee at LUMAS from May 2022 to December 2022. In this role, they were responsible for content planning and creation for social media accounts with over 100,000 followers. Rubén also monitored and analyzed trends to provide meaningful content that boosted engagement and brand awareness.

From July 2020 to March 2022, Rubén worked as a Customer Service Agent at JUNIQE. Rubén provided customer care via email and phone for the French market, as well as managed social media accounts and engaged with followers to create a close-knit community.

Rubén also has experience in the arts and culture sector. Rubén worked as an Assistant to the Curator at the Agua del Día Art Exhibition from November 2018 to January 2019, where they coordinated press activities and acted as a bridge between artists and the press. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant to the Director at La Centrale Theater Collective from March 2018 to June 2018, contributing to a mixed media theater project and managing social media presence.

Prior to these positions, Rubén served as an Assistant to the Editing Director at Brukmer, a multidisciplinary magazine focused on Afro-Belgian topics and culture. During their time there from September 2017 to June 2018, they wrote articles for online and printed magazines, covering film critiques, events, and artists.

Rubén Puerta has a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication, which they obtained from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the years 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Performing Arts, with a focus on Screenwriting and Film Analysis, at Université libre de Bruxelles. This program spanned from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are studying for their Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., which they began in 2017 and is expected to complete in 2023.
