Michel Garcia

Michel Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 1995, they started as a Legal Counsel at Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson. Michel then transitioned to Ericsson Telecom in 1996, where they worked as an Intellectual Property Support, handling trademark and design portfolios and project management. In 1995, they also joined Ericsson as a Product Manager, Sourcing Specialist, and Buyer for ethernet-based broadband access and fiber-to-home products. From 2003 to 2012, Michel worked at Onninen as a Group Category Manager, responsible for purchasing and product management. Michel then joined Assemblin in 2012 as the Head of Procurement for Assemblin El, overseeing procurement processes across the company. Currently, Michel is the Head of Procurement at Instalco, starting in 2023.

Michel Garcia began their education in 1986 at Swedish gymnasiet, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science until 1989 and obtained a high school diploma. From 1989 to 1990, Michel served in the military as a combat medic. In 1990, they enrolled at Stockholm University and pursued a Master's degree in Law. Michel completed this program in 1996. During their time at Stockholm University, Michel also participated in an Erasmus year at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1993 to 1994, focusing on Law. Additionally, from 1998 to 1999, Michel attended Marknadsinstitutet in Stockholm, studying Marketing. Michel later returned to Stockholm University and completed an LLM degree in Law from 1990 to 2005.
