Sohail Aslam

Sohail Aslam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Sohail started their career in 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer at System Plus, where they worked until December 2019. In this role, they contributed to software development projects as part of the Engineering team.

In 2019, Sohail co-founded Scholar Den and took on the role of Product Manager. Sohail was responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and implementation of a GRE test prep app. Under their leadership, the Engineering team successfully prioritized revenue-generating features, resulting in a 2x increase in company revenue. Additionally, their efforts helped secure investment for the company.

In 2021, Sohail joined Instashowing.com as the CTO and Product Owner. In this position, they worked closely with the executives to define the product vision and overall roadmap. Sohail led the product design, development, and launch of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and subsequent releases. Sohail also managed the Product Backlog and guided the Engineering team to deliver high-quality features on time.

Most recently, Sohail transitioned to the role of Head of Engineering at System Plus in September 2021. In this capacity, they lead the Engineering team and plays a key role in driving technological advancements within the company. The duration of their current role is ongoing, with no specified end date.

Sohail Aslam completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction from Lahore University of Management Sciences. Sohail attended the university from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in "Leading at a Distance" from LinkedIn in March 2020, and "Become a Leader" and "Become an Instructional Developer" from Lynda.com in December 2016.
