Tushav (Chris) Vig, a CPHR Candidate, has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Starting in 2015, Vig worked as an Administrative Assistant at Wax-A-Way, where they provided HR updates, conducted data entry, and secured potential clients for an infomercial project expansion.

In 2016, Vig served as an HR Consultant (Practicum) at AG-Recruitment/Canada, assisting with candidate recruitment, research, and database management.

In 2017, Vig joined belairdirect as an Insurance Consultant, focusing on marketing automobile and property insurance, establishing client coverage, and responding to client inquiries.

Vig concurrently served as a Protege at CPHR BC & Yukon, gaining valuable experience in the field of Human Resources.

From 2018 to 2021, Vig worked at HUB International as an Insurance Financial Advisor & Risks Analyst, performing various tasks such as setting up new accounts, auditing policies, and handling renewals and cancellations.

In 2021, Vig joined Co-operators as an Associate Insurance Advisor and Risks Analyzer, specializing in Autoplan renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, as well as offering replacement costs.

From 2022 onwards, Vig transitioned into event management roles. At BBW International Event Staff, they acted as an Event Staff member, aiding event managers, authenticating tickets, and assisting guests.

Vig also worked as an Independent Contractor/Shift Lead/Onsite Captain at Instawork, where they assisted event managers and warehouse managers in event service, order packaging, inventory management, bartending, and counter concession handling.

Most recently, Vig joined London Drugs in 2023 as an Insurance Specialist II, taking on responsibilities such as managing and supervising level 1 agents, training new staff for travel insurance, and issuing marriage licenses.

Tushav (Chris) Vig, CPHR Candidate, has a diverse education history. Tushav(Chris) Vig, obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management with a specialization in General Management and HR from Capilano University in 2016. Prior to this, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) in Gurgaon, India, where they studied HR, Marketing, and Finance from 2010 to 2012.

In 2004, Tushav completed their Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from Edinburgh Napier University. Tushav(Chris) Vig, also pursued a Master's degree specializing in International Business and IT/Systems from the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, India, during the same period as their MBA studies.

To enhance their skill set, Tushav has obtained several additional certifications. Tushav(Chris) Vig, became a CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) Candidate through CPHR BC & Yukon in July 2023. Tushav(Chris) Vig, also obtained the BC Insurance Level II certification from the Insurance Council of BC in February 2023. Furthermore, Tushav has completed certification courses in Advanced MS Excel, ERP (SAP), Fundamentals of Income Tax, HR Generalist, and Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Basics from various institutions such as High Technologies Solutions, H&R Block, and ASIAWEBMEDIA.

In 2023, Tushav plans to complete a certificate program in Digital Marketing from BrainStation.
