Namrata Das

Namrata Das has a diverse work experience starting from 2012. Namrata worked as a Design Intern at Creative Impex in 2012, where they gained practical understanding of company hierarchy and workflow and developed production-friendly designs for the international market. Namrata then worked as a Freelancer from 2013 to 2016, collaborating with clients in various industries including fashion and lifestyle. Namrata undertook projects ranging from product design to marketing and booking websites, often incorporating both digital and physical elements. In 2016, Namrata joined Bandhan Bank as a Designer, curating customer experience, conceptualizing brand verticals, and managing a team. Namrata also collaborated with Ogilvy & Mather for communication and supported MSMEs and clusters through design deliverables. In 2018, they briefly worked as a Designer at Eco Femme. From 2019 to 2021, Namrata served as a Product Designer at Paytm, contributing to the company's user experience. Namrata then moved to Branch International, where they took on the role of a Senior Product Designer. During their time at Branch, they launched the first minimum viable product for India Savings Bank, worked on growth projects, and contributed to the design system. Namrata also hosted sessions for women in tech and organized a hackathon. Currently, Namrata holds the position of Senior Product Designer at Instawork, starting in 2022.

Namrata Das holds a Master's degree in Design for Retail Experience from the National Institute of Design. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology India. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "FinTech: Foundations, Payments, and Regulations" from The Wharton School, "Introduction to Psychology" from Yale University, "Philosophy and the Sciences: Introduction to the Philosophy of Cognitive Sciences" from the University of Edinburgh Business School, and "Information Visualization: Applied Perception" and "Information Visualization: Foundations" from New York University's Coursera program. Namrata has also attained certifications in "ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP" from Acumen, "Digital Skills: Retail" from Accenture, and "DESIGN KIT: THE COURSE FOR HUMAN-CENTERED DESIGN" from IDEO.org.
