Jim York

Jim York has over 35 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry. Jim currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Insteel Industries, Inc, a role they have held since 2018. Prior to this, Jim worked at Leggett & Platt for 15 years, where they held various leadership positions including Corporate Vice President, President Rod & Wire Products, Unit President - Rod & Wire Products, Unit President - Wire Products, and President - Specialty Wire Products Division. Before joining Leggett & Platt, they worked at Bekaert for 20 years as the Manager of Strategic Materials.

Jim York attended Parkway West High School from 1973 to 1976. After completing high school, they pursued a degree in Marketing at the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).
