Gordon Baxter

Gordon Baxter is the current Chief Scientific Officer at Instem. Gordon has previous experience with Common Stream Publishing, ERBI Ltd, BioWisdom, and Pharmagene plc. Gordon began their career in 1992 as a Discovery Project Manager at SmithKline Beecham. In 1996, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Pharmagene plc where they worked until 2000. Gordon then became the CEO of BioWisdom in 2000 and held that position until 2011. After BioWisdom, Gordon served as Chairman of ERBI Ltd from 2006 to 2009. Gordon then returned to Instem where they have been working ever since.

Gordon Baxter has a PhD in Biomedical Science from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the same school.

They work with Vince D’Angelo - Vice President, Governance, Risk Management & Compliance, Marybeth Thompson - Chief Operating Officer, and Gwen Aston - Senior Vice President, Instem Clinical. Their manager is Phil Reason, Chief Executive Officer.
