Lucía Pérez Villar

Lucia Perez Villar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic policy analysis and strategic planning. Currently serving as a Manager at Instiglio since July 2022, Lucia previously held the position of Senior Associate. Prior to this, Lucia worked as an Economist and Competitiveness Analyst at the Rwanda Development Board from November 2017 to December 2021, where responsibilities included drafting policy documents and conducting data analysis for targeted policy actions. Earlier roles include Policy Analyst in the Young Professional Programme at OECD Development, Research Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, and Research Intern at UNIDO. Lucia's educational background includes a PhD in Quantitative Economics from Kiel University and advanced studies in International Economic Policy Research, complemented by a Master’s degree in International Economics and a degree in Business Administration.
