Milena Kalaitsidou

Milena Kalaitsidou has a diverse work experience in the field of science and research. Milena is currently working at Instil Bio, where they started in 2020. Milena began as a Senior Scientist in October 2020 and then progressed to the role of Principal Scientist in April 2022.

Before joining Instil Bio, Milena worked at Immetacyte Ltd, Instil bio, where they served as a Scientist from February 2019 to October 2020.

Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Manchester - GSK from February 2016 to February 2019. Their research activities were focused on specific projects during this period.

Milena started their academic journey at The University of Manchester in 2012. Milena pursued a doctoral degree in Medicine, completing their PhD in December 2015. During this time, they also worked as a PhD Student.

Before their PhD, Milena obtained a Masters in Immunology and Immunogenetics from the University of Manchester. Milena attended the program from September 2010 to September 2011.

Throughout their career, Milena has gained valuable experience in various roles within the scientific research field.

Milena Kalaitsidou pursued their educational journey by first completing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biological Sciences at The University of Salford from 2007 to 2010. Following this, they proceeded to The University of Manchester, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Immunology and Immunogenetics from 2010 to 2011. Milena then continued their studies at The University of Manchester, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cancer Sciences, which they completed from 2012 to 2016.
