Tom Scott

Tom Scott has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tom most recently worked at Instil Bio as a Principal Scientist, leading the Analytical Sciences team and developing assays for the clinical program and pipeline development projects. Tom also served as a Senior Scientist at Instil Bio, where they established the analytical sciences function and trained scientists for successful filings. Prior to that, Tom worked at Medicines Evaluation Unit Ltd as a Research Scientist, where they established a flow cytometry laboratory and validated assays for a Phase 1 clinical trial. Tom also has experience at Envigo ++++ in various roles, including Technical Specialist, Associate Technical Specialist, and Scientist, where they were involved in assay development, training new team members, and troubleshooting. Tom's early work experience includes a placement as a student at Cancer Research UK and volunteering at London 2012.

Tom Scott completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry from The University of Manchester from 2009 to 2012. Tom then proceeded to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Bioscience Technology from the University of York, where they studied from 2012 to 2013.
