Widad Nefida

Widad Nefida is a PhD candidate at Institut Cochin, focusing on the treatment of type 1 diabetes and insulin allergy through intranasal administration of Preproinsulin-Fc fusion protein. Widad also participated in a Master's research project on intranasal treatment with ovalbumin-Fc for ovalbumin allergy, within the context of immunotherapy for type 1 diabetes and insulin allergy. Widad's educational background includes a Master's in Immunology-Immunopathology from Sorbonne Universités and a Bachelor's in Health Biology from Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), along with experience as a student intern in immunotherapy and molecular biology. Additional research experience includes a project on the impact of IL-1B on T follicular lymphocytes and antibody production in autoimmunity. Widad's academic journey reflects a strong commitment to advancing knowledge in immunology and its therapeutic applications.
