Markus Brunnschneider

Markus Brunnschneider is a seasoned professional in football analysis and recruitment, currently serving as the Head of Technical Recruitment at Holstein Kiel since July 2024. With a foundational role at the Internationales Fußball Institut since October 2016, Markus oversees the departments of Game and Tactical Analysis, Scouting, and Squad Planning, alongside contributions as a scientific employee in the same areas. Previous experience includes a position as Head of Innovation Scouting/Performance at SV Darmstadt 1898 e.V. from August 2019 to June 2024 and a role as Spielanalyst at Kieler Sportvereinigung Holstein from June 2016 to July 2019. Educationally, Markus holds a Doctor's Degree in Innovation and Creativity Management from Privatuniversität Schloss Seeburg and a Master of Science in Human Factors Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, along with various certifications in sports analysis and coaching.
