Eric Chaney

Eric Chaney is an accomplished economic advisor with extensive experience in financial and geopolitical consultancy. Since January 2017, Eric has served as an Economic Advisor at Institut Montaigne and as President of EChO. Eric's prior roles include Vice Chairman of the Board at Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques, Member of the Scientific Council at Autorité des marchés financiers in France, and various leadership positions at AXA Investment Managers, including Chief Economist and Head of Research. Eric has also contributed to public finance discussions as a Member of the Tax Council and the Commission Economique de la Nation for the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. Previously, Eric was a Managing Director and Chief Economist for Europe at Morgan Stanley, enhancing analytical perspectives on the euro area. Eric holds multiple degrees in economics and mathematics from prestigious institutions such as ENSAE Paris and Pierre and Marie Curie University.
